Much of our work involves engaging with communities and developing their capabilities to deal with their own problems and come up with better solutions.

We encourage a collaborative approach. We learn with and from one another about addressing complex issues and creating change. We facilitate the development and sharing of responsibility and leadership for building strong communities.

Key projects that have involved significant community engagement and development have included:

• Facilitation of the opening of Gold Reef Mall at Stawell as part of the economic revitalisation of Stawell
• Enquiry-By-Design Workshops at the Bassendean and Kelmscott Town Centres in Perth
• Development of the marketing, business and community development program for the Melton Shopping and Business District over six years
• Development or renewal with a diverse range of business groups and property owners of over 60 marketing and development programs for metropolitan and regional centres in Victoria
• Facilitation of a Community Development Action Plan for Balranald in south-western New South Wales
• Workshops with business groups in the Shire of Cardinia to improve their performance particularly their capacity to obtain Government grants and other financial assistance
