Mainstreet Awards Dinner[/caption]Peter McNabb played a leading role in the establishment of the Victorian version of Mainstreet in 1996, and was its inaugural President from 1996 to 2001. He has been actively involved in the ongoing evolution of Mainstreet Australia through:
• Active participation on the Mainstreet Australia Committee
• Judge of the Mainstreet Awards in 2008, 2010 and 2012
• Preparation of submissions to Government on key policy issues
• Regular contributor to the Mainstreet Newsletter
• Regular speaker at Mainstreet Conferences and Seminars
• Ongoing advice and assistance to business associations in main streets
His work on Mainstreet and town centres has been enhanced through membership, discussions and collaborations with the International Downtown Association (IDA) and the Urban Land Institute (ULI) – both based in Washington, DC, and the Association of Town Centre Management (ATCM) based in London.
